Shingen The Conqueror (1559-1568). This is the fifth book in the Saga of the Samurai and the fifth in the story of the Takeda clan. Yet again Takeda Shingen is the main character in our story, and in this book we venture onto the plain of Kawanakajima and also towards the vast fields of Kôzuke province in the east – in the last part of the book we follow Shingen on his campaign towards the Imagawa clan’s lands in the south. The book is 112 pages, all in color, many color plates, photos, maps and bw illustrations makes this an exiting continuation of the story of the Takeda clan, and the samurai of Medieval Japan.
